Schaub+Srote Adds New Interior Design Expert

Interior Designer Heather Helms

Srote & Co Architects is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Heather Helms, an expert interior designer as their newest consultant and member. Helms comes to Srote & Co with over 10 years of professional experience as well as an interior design degree from Stevens Institute of Business and Arts in St. Louis, MO. She makes the move to Srote & Co from Interior Elements Design, a business she established where serving as owner/designer. Helms is a recipient of multiple awards, including two ASID Design Excellence Awards along with her work featured in publications, such as AT HOME Magazine and Feast Magazine. In 2015, Helms was elected as President of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Missouri East.

As an Interior Designer, Helms will collaborate with architect teams during interior planning in addition to leading individual interior design projects from initiation through completion; managing the design project scope and mediating client expectations and deliverables. Helms is extremely keen at listening to clients and learning about their needs and then clearly articulating those design goals to the corresponding project team or for procurement of furnishings and art.

"We are very pleased to welcome Heather to our firm," stated Robert Srote, architect and principal of Srote & Co Architects. "Her expertise and innovative talent will be essential to the success of our exclusive interior design service."
