Save-A-Lot Grocery Store

commercial location

clinton, il

project description

This 19,000-square-foot Save-A-Lot grocery store building was designed for 205 E. Washington St. in Clinton, IL; a few blocks from their existing grocery store. After outgrowing the original store location, plans for a larger, more attractive facility were necessary. This newly designed supermarket is within one block of downtown Clinton and is one of the larger Save-A-Lot stores in the country. The new store design also incorporates 400 to 500 roof-mounted solar panels, producing nearly one-third of the energy required for the building.
