A contemporary variation of design and decor was incorporated throughout this modern century French Country inspired interior, part of complete home design project by our architecture and interior design team.
With roughly 6,000 square feet of living space on the main floors, this 1.5-story French Country inspired home required a solid base of continuity on the main level to allow for a contemporary décor selection. Job-finished oak flooring and neutral wall colors throughout the main level created the opportunity to infuse contemporary elements within modern-traditional architecture.
At the front of the home, a large foyer with a 12-foot-high coffered ceiling welcomes you upon entering the main door. A traditional dining room and study were situated on opposing sides from the foyer and both showcase extensive millwork and detailed treatments.
The kitchen features a breakfast area with bow windows, providing ample natural light and a panoramic view of the outdoor scene. The kitchen area opens to a grand salon with 12-foot ceilings accented by oak stained box beam timbers and impressive fireplace with raised hearth and stone veneer. Full-height transom windows were selected by the architecture team to maximize natural light and create a visual connection to the outdoor landscape.
